BHUBANESWAR :13.08.23 (BREAKING NEWS ODIA) Tribal Rubber cultivating farmers and WSHG’s can earn an annual profit of Rs 2.5 lakh an acre if they are trained properly in Kerela and Tripura for ensuring sustainable livelihood where by converting several barren land into green canopy stated the Ekta Trust, Managing Trustee Mr Rabi Moharana he again stated, While a rubber plant takes about seven years to yield, farmers can also take up inter-cropping on the land with horticultural plantation like pineapple for profit making. On the other side the chairman of the trust Diptirekha Pattnaik enlightened the demand of rubber and stated” Rubber has a huge demand, many companies are looking for it and are ready to pay good prices.
